FAQs

What Size Storage Unit Should I Get?

Truthfully, we don’t know the answer to this, but here are a few things to consider:

  • When trying to estimate the size of space you’ll need, pack all the items you’re planning on storing and stack and store them together as close as possible. Measure the square footage of the space they take up and that will give you a rough idea of the dimensions of a space you’ll need. Don’t forget each unit has 8 ft high ceilings so you can store upward as well.
  • If you can’t pack anything up, how much space are they currently taking up in your home? Do they fill multiple rooms? If you’re really not sure about the size you’ll need, come by for a tour of our facility, to see, in-person, the scope and space of each unit.

What Can’t I Store in My Self-Storage Unit?

You can’t store any illegal ownership of drugs, weaponry, ammunition, hazardous and toxic chemicals, combustible items (aerosol cans, gasoline), and perishable food items.

All other items you’re more than welcome to store in your self-storage unit.

How Secure Are My Belongings?

In a word: very. We greatly value the safety of your belongings, and so, we’ve gone above and beyond to install security systems that are all state-of-the-art. We do regular maintenance so all aspects of our facility are in the best condition to ensure your storage unit is safe and secure in our climate-controlled building. Our elevator even has restricted access so only customers with lockers on the second floor are able to gain access to their unit via the elevator.

Can I Bring My Own Lock?

Having a state-of-the-art security system with the industries latest technology means using the hardware designed for the system. We provide the locks which are mandatory for every unit rented on-site. The reason for using the mandatory disk locks other than they’re hands down the best product available, is because our insurance provider covers each unit with a $10,000 content insurance policy. Without following the guidelines set by our provider, the policy is void, leaving all responsibility to the renter. We believe that all our customers agree that the insurance policy alone outweighs the minor fee to purchase the lock. Don’t forget, you own the lock, it isn’t just a rental fee.
